This lottery is managed by Patrons of Wrexham Uganda FC, Mrs Dionne Bhalla and Mr David Mainwaring, who are also WREXHAM AFC Season ticket holders.

Their love and support helps our Ugandan family /academy grow.

Patron Dionne started the Lottery Bonus ball in May 2021 and it is now nearing the end of its’ 3rd full year of

supporting the academy funding.During these 3 years of its’ members participating, the Wrexham Uganda academy has developed & grown, with the club having just celebrated its’ 13th year anniversary on 1st April 2024.

The lottery has raised funds to sponsor different activities for the academy over the years, including donation of footballs & equipment, funding the annual Christmas parties in last 3 years, sponsoring school holiday training programs and match games/transport for these children, as well as funding towards the senior league team matches/expenses when in the Ugandan league 5th division (a very costly period).

So the lottery contributions have already made a big impact on this amateur academy/sports team.

Patron Dionne Bhalla says ‘ This lottery is based in Wrexham, Wales and was started to create a regular fundraising stream towards the ongoing costs of the academy, to help with over 652 members in the team lead by Coach Kigozi.

The lottery is played weekly.

Each Lottery Ball ? costs £1 weekly & the weekly prize is £20.

You can have more than 1 number per week, fees are paid weekly/monthly/annually in advance by bank payment.

The draw & anouncement of winning number is done every Saturday evening, on our Facebook page - if there is no winner, the prize rolls over to the next week’s draw.

We are so very thankful that many members choose to donate THEIR WINNINGS back to funds as well, meaning the lottery can fund more activities, which is fantastic.

Wrexham Uganda Wfsau fundraising https://www.facebook.com/groups/123835262676683/?ref=share is running the lottery bonus ball to raise vital funds to improve the lives of the underprivileged children, youth, mothers & communities in the 3 suburbs of Uganda supported by academy - Kawempe, Mukono & Mityana.
Currently £8 is raised towards academy funds each week, after paying the £20 weekly prize.This works out as approximately £34 per m

onth, of which £20 is put towards the Club/Office/Store monthly rent, and the £14 left is allocated to ongoing costs as requested.

If we could sell all 31 remaining numbers then we would raise an extra £31 every week which would fund SO many more active- that is our aim for coming years.

Currently there are 16 members, who have taken 28 of the 59 Balls?leaving 31 balls still available to play.
