ABOUT WREXHAM FOOTBALL CLUB UGANDA

Wrexham UFC was established on *1st April 2011*. In 2026 we celebrate *15 years* of transforming young lives through football and skills training.

Over the years our name evolved for legal documentation:  

Wrexham Star Sports Academy Uganda WSSAU ? Wrexham Foundation Sports Academy Uganda WFSAU ? *Wrexham Uganda Football Club / Wrexham Football Club Uganda Ltd WUFC*

From a small group of children in 2011, we have grown to benefit *over 652 children* aged 3 years to adults 18+ through our programs.

*2020 Challenge:* After COVID-19, financial pressure forced us to close 2 of our 3 branches.  

*2026 Status:* With support from Lottery funding, we currently have 13 children + 7 extra = *20 children* active. Youth U15/U17 and Senior 18+ teams are on waiting until we secure sponsorship.

*OUR TEAMS & PROGRAMS*

*1. Academy:* U6, U8, U10, U12 years  

*2. Youth:* U15/U17 years - currently on waiting  

*3. Adults/Senior:* 18+ years - currently on waiting due to finances  

Our Senior Team played 2 seasons of Kawempe Division League, 5th Division:  

*2021-2022:* 5th place out of 8 teams  

*2022-2023:* 5th place out of 11 teams

*COMMUNITY SERVICES*

Beyond football, we provide:  

1. *Technical skills:* Computer training and tailoring for underprivileged children  

2. *Soap making:* Training for boys and girls of all ages  

3. *Club Shop:* We sell club merchandise to support our programs. Buy our wears to help fund equipment, rent, and coaching.
