About Wrexham Football Club Uganda

Wrexham Football Club Uganda Ltd is a charitable Club , not for profit company limited by guarantee in Uganda. Company registration number 80020003716192.And a registered Academy Under FUFA Youth Umbrella , Uganda Youth Football Association (UYFA). Registration number:UYFA/20A/057 .                        Wrexham UFC is a Ugandan football club based in Kampala , . KAWEMPE ,The Wrexham Football Club Uganda was originally established on 1st.04. 2011, its now 15years in this year 2026 ,  it has been transforming the name due to legal documentations , from Wrexham star sports academy uganda (WSSAU) to wrexham Foundation Sports Academy Uganda (WFSAU) to the final registered and licenced names WREXHAM UGANDA FOOTBALL CLUB /WREXHAM FOOTBALL CLUB UGANDA LTD(WUFC). From a small number of children at the time of establishment, the club has shown significant growth in the past 15years and over 652 children have been so benefiting in the programs through our  teams from children of 3years to adults above 18years , though the year 2020 after covid club faced financial challenges due to dates leading the club to decide to close the two branches of the three , and currently this year 2026 the club has number of children planned for 13 under Lottery’s support , with extra of 7 making 20children , we have had no funds this has lead us to with stand the youth and senior teams , untill we find the potential sponsorship to these age categories, currently the available age groups  are categorised into

(1)ACADEMY U.6,U.8,U.10,U.12 years group .

(2) YOUTH U.15/17 Years Group.currently with holding

(3) ADULTS/SENIOR TEAM 18years above.currently with holded due to finances , before the dilemma  Of which our senior developed team played two seas-ions of Kawempe Division league, 5th. Division as senior team in season 2021-2022 And 2022-2023.played and finished in 5th position out of 8teams in 2021-2022 season and again 5th place in 2022-2023 out of 11 teams participated in the Kawempe Division league .

Our success to have both academy teams and senior team, Notwithstanding the great successes with the club has achieved in recent years,

# We pride ourselves on being a community-based club which welcomes players of all ages and abilities.

# The club heavily promotes family and community values, sportsmanship, hard work and fair play.

# The club does not discriminate on the basis of ability.

We provide services in the communities like  , Football ,Netball , technical skills computer and tailoring skills to privileged children and soap making to both boys and girls at all age levels .
